Alertgy Technology for a Face-Mask That Detects Viruses
Alertgy is developing a wristband dielectric spectrometer for continuous blood glucose monitoring with two third party clinical trials completed to date. We believe this dielectric spectrometer platform could be used to develop a viral detection platform. We are working with Dr. James Hartman, leading virology and immunology professor and research scientist at Florida Atlantic University who will act as Principal Investigator in the development of viral applications. In this presentation, we would like to share our thoughts relating to a new active mask that covers the mouth and has the ability to detect viruses. Our approach would be to use dielectric spectroscopy coupled with AI algorithms to facilitate the detection of viruses. This active mask would have a built-in sensor with associated flexible electronics. We intent to discuss several characteristics of the new active mask and possible implementation techniques.
