Donald Parent

Donald Parent is a licensed professional engineer with more than 35 years of experience in the design and building of electrical and electromechanical products of various types. A holder of more than 25 US and international patents and applications, he provides product development and engineering consulting services to a range of clients. Mr. Parent began his career as a Member of the Technical Staff at Bell Laboratories, then transitioned into the optical disc industry where he led the development of CD and DVD production tools and processes. He then founded D2 Inline Solutions, a production machinery company that developed innovative inline vacuum coating technologies for plastic part decorating for customers worldwide. As Principal of Parent Technology Group, he is focused on the development of innovative solar technologies and other projects for clients such as the US Army and others. Mr. Parent has engineering degrees from Stanford University and Northeastern University and continues to enjoy the product development process.
