Eric Forsythe

Eric W. Forsythe is a staff physicist at the CCDC Army Research Laboratory and Program Manager for the OSD NextFlex Flexible Hybrid Electronics Manufacturing Institute. Since joining ARL in 2001, Dr. Forsythe has developed and executed several public-private partnerships supporting DOD and commercial transitions, to include; the US Army Flexible Display Center, SEMI FlexTech Alliance, and NextFlex. As well, Forsythe has been supporting the transition into these public-private partnerships from the ARL-WMRD essential research program, science for additive manufacturing of munitions hybrid electronics. Prior to joining the Army Research Laboratory, he was a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the University of Rochester, in both the Physics Department and the Chemistry Department and received his PhD in Physics from Stevens Institute of Technology in 1996.
