PhD CEMWorks

Dr. Jonatan Aronsson is a computational electromagnetics expert. He received an M.S. degree in engineering physics from the Lund Institute of Technology, Lund, Sweden, and a Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, MB, Canada. Dr. Aronsson's experience includes systems management and scientific programming at the University of Waterloo, Waterloo, ON, Canada. In addition, he was an HPC Applications Analyst with the University of Manitoba and Western Canada Research Grid (WestGrid), and technical site-lead with WestGrid and Compute Canada. In 2011, Dr. Aronsson founded CEMWorks Inc. and currently serves as president and lead engineer. He has led the R & D team at CEMWorks to develop a high-capacity simulation platform with high-precision analysis of the electromagnetic interactions. He works closely with the engineering team to deliver a cutting-edge tool that will drive numerous fields' innovations. Among Dr. Aronsson's research interests are fast, parallel, and adaptive algorithms for computational electromagnetics.
