Dr. Michael Brothers is a Technical Program Manager and Technical Team Lead with UES Inc. working with the 711th Human Performance Wing at AFRL. Prior to joining UES, Dr. Brothers received his PhD from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in Chemical Biology, where he studied under the Department of Homeland Security Research Fellowship as well as a Chemical Biology Interface Traineeship. Dr. Brothers currently focuses on developing novel sensor technology, including electrochemical sensors and integration into novel devices for human performance and health monitoring. His current work includes the development of sensor platforms for deployment in wearable form-factors for the detection of compounds of interest in both environmental samples as well as in biofluids.
