Shruti Deshmukh

Shruti Deshmukh received her Bachelor of Technology degree in polymer science and engineering from the Institute of Chemical Technology, India in 2013. She worked at the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation in India for the following 3 years, then joined UMass Lowell in 2017 to pursue a Ph.D. in Plastics Engineering. Her work focuses on the flexible hybrid electronics space and has included a project with Raytheon, several Nextflex sponsored projects, and the development of novel stretchable substrates for manufacturing and property testing to determine application potential for printed electronics. She is currently also involved in the Nextflex flexible and stretchable DataCube projects.
